In Rome

We made it to Rome. Lovely Rome. It's a beautiful sunny warm day. It's good to be here. The two flights were perfect. In fact I did not even feel the landing in Rome!

As I awoke this morning I was treated to a gorgeous sunrise. The first rays of the sun gilded the sky. Then ever so slowly the fiery red ball of the sun pierced the golden light. The sky was on fire and it was absolutely beautiful. I tried to take pictures of it but the colors were so intense that the pictures are worthless. It's something I will just have to remember without a prompt.

Tomorrow we board the Ruby Princess. We are ready.
